Engineering and CIS Students visit NASA

On Friday, February 3, twenty Grade 11 Engineering and CIS students traveled to New Jersey to present design prototypes to NASA personnel at the NASA HUNCH Northeast Regional Design Review. Student teams have been working since last September to develop prototypes to solve problems presented to them by the astronauts at NASA's Research Integration Office. Tri-County teams are solving the following issues:

Legal and Protective Services Students Train for 911 Dispatch Tele-Communicator Certification

John Brunelli of the Massachusetts State 911 Department speaks to seniors in the  Legal and Protective Services Program.  This week the students are completing the APCO  portion of their 911 Dispatch Tele-Communicator certification at Tri-County.   In March they will travel to Middleborough to receive three additional days of training on the Next Generation 911 Emergency Call System equipment.
