Daughters of the American Revolution Award

Mackenzie Rider, a Senior at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School, was recently given a Good Citizens Award by the Colonel William McIntosh Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

The Colonel William McIntosh Chapter sponsors six high schools for the Good Citizens Award — Needham High School, St. Sebastian's School, Medfield High School, Millis High School, Medway High School and Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School.

The DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The Good Citizens Award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.

Congratulations Mackenzie!
