402-Introduction to Fly Fishing
This indoor class will cover the basics of how to get started fly-fishing. You’ll learn about the equipment, including rods, reels, lines, flies, waders, and other gear, the differences between fresh and saltwater fly-fishing, basic knot tying, fishing conservation, and 1st class fly-casting with an indoor practice rod. This is a fast-paced 2-hour class designed to get you ready for the spring fishing season. Instructor will provide all materials and handouts. Bring a pen and paper for notes, if desired. Class size limited to 8 students.

Are you looking for a relaxing hobby that allows you to create things that you can use or give away as gifts? This fun and practical class covers the basics of choosing yarn, hooks, patterns, and stitches. The first week, you will learn how to make a basic foundation chain and some decorative stitches, count stitches, and maintain even tension. For the remaining two classes, you'll choose one of 2 beginner patterns to make a lapghan (small afghan). You'll be instructed on what to purchase for your project during the first class. Bring a size J crochet hook to each class.
