The Tri-County library is an integral part of the Tri-County community .The library reflects the needs of the Vocational/Technical and Academic Curriculum. Tri-County adheres to the standards listed in the Massachusetts School Library Media Program Standards for 21st Century Learning (2003) document.

The library is staffed with a full-time Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Cheryl Anzaldi. After school the Homework Center that is housed in the library, is directed by Mrs.Judith Gagnon, a former English teacher at Tri-County.

Students are able to access the library with their academic and vocational/technical classes during school hours and after school for homework and research. The library offers 24 computers with Internet access, magazine and newspaper databases, encyclopedias on-line, academic, career databases and word processing. The local cable TV network is housed in the library. The library's online catalog incorporates Spectrum Web Catalog.

Library Policies

Check out procedures-Students may check out two library materials from the general collection for three weeks and these can be renewed. Reference materials may circulate overnight.

Overdue materials- Overdue notices will be given to English teachers for distribution. If a book is lost, than the student will be charged the replacement cost of the book.

Library Rules

No food or beverages are allowed in library. Teachers will sign up for use of library and computer lab prior to bringing classes to the library. Students sent to the library from a class must have a pass and sign in at the desk with full name, time, and teacher who issued pass.

Computer Rules

No food or beverages allowed in labs. Teachers must sign student name on the computer log-in sheet. Computers are to be used for educational purposes. Student e-mail is not allowed. The printing pass must be used in the labs in order to print. Do not change settings on computers, i.e.screensaver, wallpaper, desktop, etc. Network sharing is not allowed unless authorized by your instructor.
